The mask is carved from a single piece of wood and shaped into a smooth oval face with pronounced circular eyes and a narrow nose. The surface is carefully polished, giving the mask its refined patina. Braided fiber cord attached along the sides likely functioned as suspension or fastening elements during ceremonial use.
